Hello there beautiful people, and welcome to the Nopi Challenge. I started cooking as a hobby (I suppose it still technically is, I don’t get paid for it after all) and it has slowly started to become one of my greatest interests. There are quite a few chefs who I admire (Eric Ripert, Jean Georges, Tyler Florence, Mario Batali…just to name a few) and Yotam Ottolenghi is one whose recipes I blindly trust. Thus, I came up with this lofty goal, this ambitious challenge, this walk down an unknown culinary road.
In a Julie/Julia Project-esque fashion, I am going to attempt to cook each and every recipe in Ottolenghi’s newest book, Nopi. Yep, it’s 120 recipes and I know it’s going to be challenging. My main goal is to finish them all. And to not have my dear friend (if only in my dreams) Yotam Ottolenghi hate me by the end, like Julia wound up hating Julie. Dare to dream.
